Three simple steps

  1. Open the NHS App

    Sign in and select Prescriptions.

Don’t have the app? You can also sign in on the NHS website. For help setting up access, contact your GP surgery.

  2. Choose your Raylane pharmacy

Select Choose a pharmacy, or change Your chosen pharmacy. Search using your branch’s postcode, check the address and confirm.

    Find my pharmacy’s postcode →

Already chosen your Raylane pharmacy? Go straight to step 3.

  3. Request your medicines

Choose the repeat prescription option. Check your pharmacy, select the medicines you need, then review and send your request.

Your GP approves it first. Collect your medicines once they are ready—call your pharmacy if you are unsure.

Please order ahead. NHS guidance recommends requesting up to 5 working days before you need your medicine. This is not a guaranteed collection time.

Medicine missing from the app? Contact your GP surgery.

Need medicine urgently? Contact your GP. When it is closed, call 111 or use NHS 111 online.

Based on NHS prescription guidance, checked 2 September 2026. App wording may vary. Changing pharmacy may not redirect prescriptions you have already requested.
